For Patients

What To Expect

The focus of your first visit will be assessment and diagnosis, plus your first treatment.

At Agility Physiotherapy & Sports Injury, we are a movement based clinic, so the diagnostic tool we use is the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA).

After your assessment and diagnosis, an individualized treatment plan will be prescribed. As a general rule it mixes treatments at the clinic with a series of home based rehabilitative exercises.

Be sure to wear loose-fitting comfortable clothing (including sports bra or tank top for women) to your first visit. If you normally wear corrective lenses or hearing aids, be sure to have them in place since communication between you and your physical therapist is important.

Bring information about any medications you are currently taking as well as any reports on your injury of condition that might be provided by your doctor.
